In the seven years that i ve been crocheting i ve made three adult sized ripple blankets and two baby sized ripple blankets oh and one ripple cushion too.
For round 1 choose a mid tone or medium dark colour you need this round to do the job of neatening any wobbles so the colour needs to be one that blends easily with the rest of the colours in the blanket.

The edging is worked in 4 rounds and the colour choices make a big difference to the way the whole blanket looks when it s finished.
The gorgeous granny stripe blanket is an amazing array of colour and at around 1 85 per 100g ball of yarn stylecraft special double knit i had to have a go.
